At Main Street Christian School, preschool is more than preparation for kindergarten. It is a season to celebrate the blessings of Christ, childhood, and community in the heart of Tucker.
Our teachers create weekly, play-based lesson plans aligned with the learning standards set by the Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning. Every activity is thoughtfully designed to nurture the whole child while protecting the wonder and joy of early childhood.
A Play-Based, Purposeful Approach
Children learn best through play, and we embrace that fully.
Each week, teachers draw from a variety of trusted curricula and resources to design engaging experiences that support growth in every domain of development:
Cognitive Development – early math, problem-solving, curiosity, and critical thinking
Physical Development – fine and gross motor skills through movement and hands-on activities
Social and Emotional Growth – confidence, kindness, cooperation, and self-regulation
Language and Literacy – vocabulary, early reading readiness, listening, and communication
Through imaginative play, arts and crafts, sensory exploration, storytime, outdoor adventures, music, and movement, children build the foundation they need for lifelong learning.

Faith at the Center
Faith is woven into the rhythm of every day at Main Street Christian School.
Through weekly Bible stories, scripture verses, prayer, and songs, children begin to understand God’s love in age-appropriate ways. On Wednesdays, students gather for chapel to pray, sing, and learn more about who God is.
Our hope is that even our youngest learners begin to see themselves as deeply loved and wonderfully made.
